Moscow CED carries out customs operations in respect of the declared goods using information technologies. Information on the declared goods is submitted in electronic form. The declaration is registered automatically in less than a minute, which speeds up the passage of customs procedures.

The aviation system, especially in so large countries as Russia, is a part of general logistics scheme, without which the development of the state is impossible. Air transport, in addition to passenger traffic, provides transportation services for various goods. This also includes a service for the urgent delivery of certain types of goods - for example, such as urgent (courier) mail, valuable documents, perishable food, medicines and other medical preparations and much more.

The customs post of the Electronic Declaration Center of the Moscow Regional Customs (MRC CED) was established on the basis of Order No. 1886 of the Federal Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation dated November 21, 2018 “On Improving the Structure of the Moscow Regional Customs and amendments to the Appendix to the Order of the Federal Customs Service of Russia of June 8, 2016 year No. 1142 ”, actually began its work on January 29, 2019.
