"Bely Rast" is a new container terminal for receiving goods from China, which belongs to the Lobnensky customs post of the Moscow regional customs. "Bely Rast" was created within the framework of the program for the development of the national railway system, approved by the government of the Russian Federation. The terminal is located 30 km from Moscow and is directly adjacent to the Big Ring of the Moscow Railway and the federal highway A107 (Moscow Small Ring Road), to Dmitrovskoye Highway. The junction is equipped with a checkpoint.

Structure

The total area of ​​the container terminal is 179 hectares. It includes:

• a complex of distribution universal warehouses of class "A" - occupies 260 thousand m2;

• container and piggyback terminal;

• inert cargo terminal;

• container storage warehouse with a design capacity of up to 3.1 thousand TEU.

In addition, the terminal has a well-developed infrastructure. There is:

• 3 loading and unloading railway tracks with a length of 1050 m;

• parking for trucks and cars;

• building for employees;

• objects of customs infrastructure;

• container repair service center.

Benefits

The terminal serves full-size container / pile trains. Container trains arrive here from the city of Shenyang in the Chinese province of Liaoning. The first regular container train from China with 50 forty-foot containers arrived at the logistics center through the Grodekovo border crossing on July 29, 2020. It was sent from China via Mongolia and the Russian border station at Naushki. Moreover, this distance was covered in just 4.5 days. The arrival took place in the presence of the Minister of Transport of Russia Yevgeny Dietrich and the General Director - Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov.

Thanks to this project, the transit time of transportation has been significantly reduced. Now it is 14 days, compared with more than 45 days that it takes to deliver by sea.

So far, it is planned to reach the monthly volume of 200 TEU (TEU is the equivalent of a 20-foot container). But the design handling capacity of the container-piggyback terminal is up to 725 thousand TEU per year.
