Trade between Russia and Uruguay in 2020 amounted to more than $ 160 million. The pandemic negatively affected the supply volumes.

high cargo security;
there is no need to carry out customs clearance when crossing the borders of transit states;
short delivery times.
However, there is an important drawback - it is high cost, therefore, most often valuable, perishable and urgent goods are transported by air. For example, in this way it is convenient to deliver beef, fruits, cheeses and other perishable goods.
There are several international airports in Uruguay:
Artigas;
Punta del Este;
Carrasco;
Export cargo can be delivered to any of them, but, as a rule, Montevideo airport is used, less often - Punta del Este.
Please note that SB Cargo, as an IATA accredited cargo agent, is ready to offer more favorable air transportation rates, guarantee the safety of your cargo, and quickly book an application. Air delivery takes 2-4 days.
However, multimodal delivery schemes are usually used, because the cargo must be delivered to a port or airport for loading or, after customs clearance in Russia, delivered to the client.
