Port Bronka is the deepest Baltic port, located within the administrative boundaries of the Big Port of St. Petersburg. Carriers appreciated the positive aspects of the Bronka seaport in comparison with the St. Petersburg Big Seaport.

The port is located outside the urban area, therefore, after transshipment of goods onto trucks, the latter do not have to stand in city traffic jams. This way is faster and much more convenient. In the future, Port Bronka could serve the existing industrial area and those industrial zones that are still to be rebuilt.

Since September 2015, the Bronka customs post, located in the department of the Baltic customs, began working. It is located at: St. Petersburg, Lomonosov, st. Evgeniya Efeta, section 14. On December 1, 2018, a customs warehouse with an open area of ​​more than 8,000 m² with the necessary material and technical equipment was opened in Port Bronka. It immediately solved a number of problems related to labeling, packaging and repackaging, sorting. Before that, the cargo had to be placed on the sites of other customs warehouses operating in the Big Port of St. Petersburg. Customs transit required additional financial costs. The opening of a customs warehouse made it possible to store goods for a long time without paying customs duties and taxes. It is planned to develop railway and warehouse infrastructure. This will increase the volume of cargo transshipment to 20 million tons by 2022.
